Mounted Monitor...

I mounted my flatscreen PC monitor to my desk without buying the 100 dollar wall-mount. I used flat metal pieces with holes used for mounting car stereos, and drywall screws.

eBay! Hooray!
When I can't find something on the shelves, I hit eBay. This is the new 250 in black that I won today! On the 2010 Mystery cars, they're punching a small hole in the back so you can still see what kind of car it is without opening it. I like this idea because it keeps the car mint. I have two dif mystery car Ferrari's and 1 kept out for play.

Short Cards vs. Long Cards

The short cards were invented to save space in grocery stores. So I've been told anyway. Sometimes you can only find certain colors, wheels, or body styles in the short card versions. This is why it's important to look at both (long&short), especially if you're a die-hard collector. Most of the international (Long) cards are strait from either the Malaysian Plant, or the U.K. while short cards come from many dif places and are intended for sales in smaller stores.

Power Supply Cleaning...
If you own a PSU that is at least 2-3 years old, and it still runs, it's time to give it a good cleaning. If yours comes apart with screws, carefully remove it from the tower unplugging all terminals, remembering the connections, and blow it out with some air duster. If you're able to get inside of it use the duster again and also Q-Tips work well here. Remove any/all dust and dirt, cleaning the fan's blades as well. Soap and water work great on acrylic or plastic units. If you can, look for any damaged or leaky transistors before putting back together. A regular monthly dusting should keep it running fine a few more years if kept nice and cool. Blow out or dust the inside of the tower before putting the PSU back into place.
